The mountains infuse us with life. Emptying our heads of thoughts, filling the lungs with fresh air, and the heart with joy and strength. Its power is un denying even though we can't reach out and touch it. Had it been possible, we would have bottled it. Until it's doable (hopefully never), we lace up our hiking boots, brag about our carving turns, and pedal until it burns in the bike thighs. How you ingest mountains is less important. It's that you're doing what's nice. Welcome to the mountains.

Skiing in Tänndalen
The alpine world of Tänndalen is a sparkling white snow buffet full of delicacies at high and snow-proof heights. Every winter, four to five meters of natural snow descends over the ski area, which stretches through the entire valley from Hamra in the west to Swan Lake in the east.
Downhill skiing
The alpine ski system in Tänndalen serves as many as 54 alternating slopes, both above and below the tree line.
Cross-country skiing
Through valleys and over high mountain terrain, Funäsfjällen's trail system winds its way with a total of 300 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails.
